1. Stone Repair Quality Control

To ensure high-quality stone repair, the following are considered defects:

(1) Repairs on highly porous natural stone that are larger than a coin.

(2) Significant color variation, flaking, or obvious color blocks between the original stone and the repaired area.

The industrial-grade stone fixing adhesive ensures a perfect visual match by blending invisibly with the original stone. Its high-performance formula resists flaking to maintain structural integrity, resulting in a consistent texture and a seamless finish.

For patterned stone with tight joints, the cured stone bonding adhesive is easy to polish. This allows for precise pattern alignment and the creation of aesthetically pleasing joints without compromising the final appearance.

2. Stone Countertop Splicing Processes

When splicing stone countertops, the chosen method dictates the specific demands on the stone countertop adhesive. For delicate 45-degree splices, soft stone without a chamfer is highly susceptible to cracking at the sharp corner, leading to obvious repair marks and difficulty in joint control. Molibon construction epoxy adhesive is an ideal choice, as its moderate cure time allows for precise gap adjustment, while its high final strength stabilizes the joint and conceals repairs. In contrast, 90-degree splicing is simpler, offering better anti-fragmentation performance and lower installation difficulty.

For a seamless appearance, invisible seam splicing involves grooving the edges to conceal the joint. This requires a highly fluid adhesive to fully penetrate the groove. The highly-flowable epoxy resin adhesive has excellent flow properties, fills the joints and form a tight bond with the stone after curing, ensuring joints that are both durable and natural looking.

3. Stone surface treatment process

· (1) Overall grinding and polishing process: First clean the seams (the seams need to be opened for caulking stone), and then apply long-lasting stone joint adhesive to the surface and joints to fill the defects. After the high-toughness epoxy stone adhesive cures, the surface undergoes a multi-stage refinement process, including coarse grinding, fine grinding, chemical hardening, and a final polish using specialized powders and enhancers. Molibon stone repair adhesive has good compatibility with stone. There is no obvious connection mark after grinding.

(2) Only polishing process: After cleaning and curing, directly polish with mirror agent. The process is simple and the cost is low, but it cannot solve surface defects and the effect is inferior to overall grinding and polishing. 

Molibon vertical stone adhesive can adapt to the characteristics of different stones, especially for loose stones. It can enhance surface stability through filling and curing, and reduce the risk of weathering and falling off.
