Molibon Launches High-Performance Industrial Adhesive

Molibon today launched eight new industrial adhesives engineered to solve specific bonding challenges for engineers. The expanded adhesive provides reliable and high-strength solutions for critical structural assembly in demanding sectors including electronics, automotive, medical and general manufacturing.

Engineered for Specific Applications:

Each new adhesive has been formulated with a target application and key material challenges in mind:

1. MA-5137: High-Performance Acrylic Adhesive for Electronics Assembly

Primary Application: Structural bonding of metals (aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy, Zinc alloy, stainless steel) and engineering plastics (PC, ABS, PET) in consumer electronics and 3C product housings. Its 5-7 minute open time and excellent impact resistance are ideal for fast-paced assembly lines.

2.MA-5235: Flexible Acrylic Structural Adhesive for Demanding Structural Bonds

The low-shrinkage acrylic bonding adhesive is proven for bonding metals (like aluminum, magnesium) to composites (like carbon fiber) in demanding automotive and transportation applications. Its excellent flexibility and fatigue resistance handle vibration and long-term stress. 

3. MA-5539: Low Surface Energy Plastics Adhesive for Hard-to-bond Plastics

Primary Application: Bonding challenging plastics like PP, PE, and POM without extensive surface treatment, widely used in new energy components bonding, general industrial assembly, and appliance manufacturing. 

4.ME-7352: Low odor Modified Epoxy Structural Adhesive for High-Strength Elastic Bonding for Demanding Environments

Primary Application: The epoxy bonding glue offers excellent anti-aging performance under high temperature, high humidity, and other harsh environments. It is ideal for bonding composite parts, general industrial assembly (like PA/Nylon), 3C electronic device housings, and bonding between most dissimilar materials.

5.PU-7456: Modified Polyurethane Structural Adhesive for Versatile Assembly

Primary Application: Durable bonding of composite or plastic parts (like ABS、SMC、BMC、RTM、FRP) to metals and other substrates. Its toughness and vibration resistance properties deliver long-lasting and impact-resistant assemblies.

6. ME-6632: Versatile Toughened Epoxy Adhesive for Multi-Substrate Bonding

Primary Application: A general-purpose high-strength solution for bonding treated metals, FRP and SMC in automotive, electronics and communications network equipment enclosures.

7. ME-6632N: Non-Sag High-Viscosity Epoxy Adhesive for Multi-substrate Bonding

Primary Application: Vertical or overhead bonding applications requiring a gap-filling adhesive that resists slumping, ideal for the same sectors as ME-6632 but where flow control is critical.

8. ME-6679-M: Epoxy Structural Adhesive for Medical Devices

Primary Application: Transparent, high-strength bonding of medical device components, diagnostic equipment, optical lenses, and precision electronic displays, especially suitable for applications with extremely high requirements for aesthetics and biocompatibility.
